To better serve you, we have answered the questions that we frequently receive when our customers are leasing.
Can I bring my pet?
Both Briargreen & Candlewood are pet friendly. Our standard policy
allows 1 - 2 pets up to 25 pounds each. There is a one-time $200 non-
refundable fee per pet. For more information on pet policy please visit
the property page for your community.
Can I qualify for an apartment if I have filed for bankruptcy?
Yes. If an applicant has a discharged Chapter 7 or 13 Bankruptcy they
can still qualify for an apartment. The applicant’s credit since the
bankruptcy must be good and they meet all other qualifying criteria.
Do you offer furnished housing?
Both properties offer corporate apartments. These units would include
furniture, utilities, house wares, and basic cable, and are available
to our corporate or military residents.
Do your properties accept Section 8 or other government assistance for housing?
No. Eagles Management does not accept Section 8. Please contact the
government agency for a listing of apartments that accept government
assistance.
How long does the application process take?
Applications are generally complete within 24 hours. This depends on
the information needed and the amount of information provided to us by
the applicant. Please understand 24 hours is our goal, some
applications will take longer.
If I submit an application with an application fee will I get an apartment?
Submitting an application and application fee does not guarantee you an
apartment. All applications are subject to our qualifying criteria and
availability. It is advised that you contact the property first before
submitting an application to ensure the floorplan you want will be
available when you need it. Read the qualifications of the property you
are interested in closely before submitting an application, if you have
any questions contact the property. Please be advised that application
fees are non-refundable.
What additional fees will be required before move-in?
In addition to rent, you will be responsible for the application fee
and the security deposit. The application fee is $40 - $45 per person.
This fee covers the costs of having a credit and criminal background
check completed. The Security Deposit is $200; this deposit may be
refunded at the termination of your lease depending upon the terms of
the security deposit policy of the property.
What are the standard lease terms? Do you offer short term leases?
The standard lease term is 12 months. We can offer variable lease
terms, please contact management for additional fees and information on
short term leases.
What do I need to do if I have a co-signer?
Be sure your co-signer meets all qualifications for the property you are
interested in. A co-signer must have enough income to pay their bills
as well as the apartment rent. Contact the property and ask what other
forms or information will be needed for a co-signer.
Will I qualify for an apartment?
Eagles Management is a fair housing provider. The general guidelines of
qualifying for an apartment include the following: good credit history,
good rental history and a monthly household income equal to or greater
than 3 times the monthly rent of the apartment you desire. A criminal
background check will be performed on each applicant. Please check the
qualifications for the community you are interested in for the exact
criteria. Management reserves the right to deny occupancy based on the
results.
